If you reside in Haiti, please address immigration questions to the consul representing your country of origin.
Haitian immigration authorities are the binding entity whose decision is final on the terms of entry into the Republic of Haiti..
Consular officials representing your country can not intervene on behalf of a visitor not meeting Haiti’s entry requirements.
Holders of official, diplomatic and other special passports should verity immigration requirements relevant to their status.
Travel documents
All travelers must present to Haitian immigration authorities a passport valid for at least 6 months prior the date of entry.
Citizens of the Republics of Santo Domingo, Colombia and Panama not holding a visa from Canada, the USA or a country part of the Schengen Agreement must secure a visa prior arrival in Haiti.
When traveling with children please carry a certified copy of their Birth Certificate as well as a notarized document signed by both parents or legal guardian(s) duly entitling their travel.
A parent travelling solo with his (her) child will require a Notarized affidavit signed by the other parent confirming consent to the child’s travel.
Health Guide
During your trip, you may be exposed to certain diseases preventable through vaccination.
The strength to resist various deseases tends to decrease with age
And thus incrise the risk of catching certain ailments.
Prior travelling, we recommend that you consult a doctor, a nurse or attend a travel clinic to discuss any health concerns.
Additional vaccines may be recommended depending on age, on the activities planned and on local settings.
Disease prevention is a life-long process greatly supported by up-to-date immunization.
Immunization recommended for travel to Haiti:

To prevent food and waterborne diseases such as cholera and traveler’s diarrhea please do not ingest any food not adequately boiled, cooked or peeled.
Plan to protect yourself from mosquito bites.
Luggages
Passengers must not carry, on themselves or in their luggages, items prohibited aboard aircrafts or in checked luggage.
Please observe the weight restrictions stipulated by airline(s).
Please review the guidelines of the airline you will be travelling with to determine which items are allowed aboard aircrafts.
Please observe all regulations concering the transportation of: food, liquids, aerosols and portable electronic devices.
Registering upon arrival
Foreign nationals are strongly encouraged to register with their respective embassies.
